Dress for Success
The Career Closet, located in the Link Center at Swenson Hall 1061, helps students begin a professional wardrobe for school presentations, internships, career fairs, interviews, and more! Students can shop in the Career Closet anytime the Link Center is open Monday-Friday, 7:45 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. The Career Closet contains tops, sweaters, blazers, skirts, pants, dresses, shoes, belts and ties. Inventory changes frequently; be sure to periodically check back for new items. UW-Superior alumni can also shop at the Career Closet up to one year after graduation.

How it Works
Students can visit the Link Center (Swenson Hall 1061) during office hours (Monday-Friday, 7:45 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.). Sign in at the front desk. A Link Center staff member will give you a Career Closet tour and let you shop! If you would like to try on any clothing item, you may take it across the hall into the restrooms. Give the Link Center staff member any clothing that didn’t make the cut. There is no limit on the number of items you may take, but we ask that you please be mindful of other students who may need the resource as well.
How to Donate
Career Closet items are donated by our generous alumni, staff, faculty, and community members. If you would like to donate items, please visit the Link Center during office hours and check in with a Link Center staff member. You may request a receipt for tax purposes.
Preferred donations Include:
- Professional or business clothing: tops, sweaters, blazers, skirts, pants, dresses, shoes, belts, and ties
- Gently used and damage free: please do not donate clothing with stains, collar yellowing or unraveling seams
- We do not accept undergarments or distressed casual clothing
