Big Time Jazz Orchestra Scholarship

Big Time Jazz Orchestra Scholarship

Department

For music student(s) who exhibit excellence in jazz studies.

About the Benefactor: Big Time Jazz Orchestra Board of Directors
The Big Time Jazz Orchestra is a nationally acclaimed, locally stationed jazz orchestra that performs both classic standards and original compositions all over the area. They love to promote big band jazz music and provide opportunities to educate the youth of the twin ports on the ultimate American art form.

Established by founder Randy Lee, the Big Time Jazz Orchestra has performed all over the Twin Ports, and also does quite a few shared concerts with various schools in the region. The band is not only known for its top quality musicians, but also benefits many local charities. The UW-Superior Big Time Jazz Orchestra Scholarship is only one of the many programs and charities they support.

Incoming freshmen and transfer students: Admitted students can complete the new student scholarship application to be considered for Foundation scholarships. Recipients will be notified by mail and email. See the Admissions Office’s scholarship page for details on how to apply.
