Dr. and Mrs. Virgil M. Everson Scholarship

For a full-time sophomore or junior student who has been admitted to the Chemistry or Biology program, and has a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Preference will be given to graduates of Superior High School.

For an undergraduate sophomore, junior, or senior student majoring in History who shows academic merit and financial need.

For a full-time junior or senior female student majoring in Biology with a minimum GPA of 3.0 and a focus on medicine or health related studies.

For a student with a 3.85 or higher GPA and who has completed all the freshman core courses in music (theory and ear training).

For the top student academically in the sophomore theory class, with at least a ninety percent average.

Dr. Charles Kenney Scholarship Fund

Student recipients must be a junior or senior with a History major. First preference for students with a minor in broad area social studies or political science. First preference for students focused in Russian studies. First preference to applicants from Wisconsin, especially north of Highway 29.

Dr. Dale A. Newman First Nations Scholarship in honor of Robert L. Houle

For a full-time sophomore, junior, or senior, that has financial need, and can provide proof they are a member of a federally recognized Native American tribe. Applicants must submit a one-page essay identifying tribal relationships and how the student's education will benefit Native American people. First preference to students from northern Wisconsin.

For a graduate of Ashland High School in pre-professional studies towards dentistry, medicine, veterinary, pharmacy, nursing OR music with preference to stringed instruments or voice.

For a student proceeding towards dentistry (preference) or medicine, with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and financial need. Preference is given to students from northern Wisconsin, with northern Minnesota, and northern Michigan students receiving second preference.
