For a student of academic merit who is pursuing a degree in Music. The student must demonstrate a past work history or experience working as a volunteer in their community. The student must also demonstrate financial need.

Richard H. and Kathryn U. Cochrane Scholarship

For a student with at least a 3.0 GPA. and has financial need. The student must submit as part of the application process an essay that details the student's hardship and/or overcoming of hardship, strong desire to better themselves and earn a degree at UW-Superior, and desires to be a positive influence on those they affect. Preferably, the student should strongly desire to better themselves and those around them, to overcome/achieve, but is down and out of luck.

Richard I. Bong Memorial Scholarship

For an upperclassman enrolled at UW-Superior and in AFROTC. Preference should be given to students from Northwest Wisconsin. In the event there is not an eligible student studying AFROTC, the scholarship should be awarded to a student from the Northwestern School District enrolled at UW-Superior. Preference will be given to students who serve as volunteers at the Richard Bong Heritage Center.

Richard I. Bong Memorial Scholarship

For an upperclassman enrolled at UW-Superior and in AFROTC. Preference should be given to students from Northwest Wisconsin. For a UW-Superior student with at least a 3.25 GPA and in Aerospace/AFROTC.

Robert D. Krey Research Award

Two annual educational student awards for an oustanding Ed.S. research thesis in Educational Administration or for scholarly work by an Educational Administration graduate student. Students competing for the award must submit their scholarly writing or research thesis to a faculty committee for selection. The committee, to be headed by the faculty member mainly responsible for teaching the research class or classes for educational administration if possible, will determine the award recipients.
