For an incoming freshman student. First preference to a student majoring in Business or Education. Student must be from one of the following high schools: Ashland, Bayfield, Washburn, Mellen, or Butternut.

For students majoring in Music with emphasis on piano or violin.

Monica Tikkanen Scholarship

For a junior enrolled in an undergraduate degree program with at least a 2.5 GPA. Applicants must submit a short essay detailing how they struggle to continue with their degree program work due to family or job commitments and difficulties. Applicants must get a recommendation from an academic advisor that can vouch for the student's character.

For a student that has at least a 2.5 GPA and has been assisted by student services. Preference given to students that are divorced and attending UW-Superior to enhance/enrich their future.
