Scholarships

For a student in a distance learning program.

For a full-time student with a minimum GPA of 3.0 majoring in any area and exhibiting financial need.

For incoming freshman students from Northwestern Wisconsin or Northeastern Minnesota who intend to major/minor in Math, Computer Science, Chemistry, Biology or Physics.

For incoming freshmen majoring in Elementary Education and are from Northwestern Wisconsin or Northeastern Minnesota

For a student from Superior, WI with a GPA of 3.0 or greater, who has financial need.

For students of academic merit.

For a freshman who is a resident of rural Douglas County and is ranked in the upper 25th percentile of their high school graduating class.

Annual scholarship awarded to a student with a major or minor in Writing.

For students who are residents of Wisconsin or Minnesota with academic merit and financial need majoring in Mathematics. Preference is given to students planning to teach.

For incoming freshmen students with an interest in exploring intermodal operations and developing intermodal industry leadership skills. The recipient must have at least a 3.0 GPA and must have declared a Transportation and Logistics Management major or a Supply Chain Management major. To be considered, applicants must submit an essay to the Admissions Office at admissions@uwsuper.edu detailing what they think the North American intermodal industry contributes to the movement of freight. The essay must have a 12-point font body with 14-point font headers, Times New Roman type, and 1 inch margins. References and citations are highly recommended.
