This solo classical guitar recital will include Spanish and South American guitar music from the the late 19th and 20th centuries. The music of Francisco Tárrega, Federico Moreno Torroba, Agustín Barrios, and Jose Lusic Merlin will be featured.
A former Schubert Club and Thursday Musical Prize winner, Jonker has performed as a featured local artist for the Minnesota Guitar Society. He has also performed with the Duluth-Superior Symphony Orchestra, Duluth Playhouse, Twin Ports Choral Project, Lyric Opera of the North, Lake Superior Youth Chorus, as well as other various ensembles.
