The Theatre Department will present William Shakespeare’s classic Twelfth Night. Performances will take place at 7:30 p.m. on March 28 and 29, April 3 and 4, and at 2 p.m. on April 5 in Manion Theater.

In Twelfth Night, Viola and her twin brother Sebastian have been shipwrecked, each believing the other to be drowned. Viola disguises herself as a young man and becomes a servant to the Duke, Orsino. Meanwhile, the beautiful Countess Olivia’s subjects plot to take revenge on the miserly and uptight butler, Malvolio. A whirlwind of love professions, songs, laughter, drinks and confusion unfolds as mistaken identities and misunderstandings create chaos over who has promised what to whom. In the end, all is revealed, the siblings are reunited, and the love triangles are resolved in this hilarious comic romp.
