Robert Powell, CFP®, RMA®, is an award-winning financial journalist, renowned for his contributions in various esteemed publications. With a comprehensive understanding of retirement planning and investment management, he serves as the editor and publisher of Retirement Daily and the host of Decoding Retirement on Yahoo Finance! He was a journalist fellow for the Columbia Journalism/Columbia Aging Center in 2022, and he won the Radio Television Digital News Association and the National Endowment for Financial Education Excellence in Personal Finance Reporting Award in 2021. He serves as the editor-in-chief of the Investments and Wealth Institute’s (IWI) Retirement Management Journal and hosts the Exceptional Advisor podcast by IWI. Powell is also a partner in Plan4Life as well as the co-founder of finStream.tv, a streaming channel focused on short-form personal financial education videos, and co-founder of Parting Glass Productions, currently involved in co-producing a film in Ireland, demonstrating his passion for storytelling through diverse mediums.
