The University of Wisconsin-Superior’s Visual Arts Exhibitions will continue with the “Bride & Groom / Paper & Stone” art exhibition in the Experimental Gallery.

Gary Swanson and Lou Ann Petersen-Noltner are visual artists and UW-Superior graduates who employ collage and found objects to communicate their understanding of the world. They are cousins and artistic compatriots who come together to talk about, celebrate and share their art.

While each artist maintains their own practice and own individual voice, this exhibition showcases their unique individuality as well as the connections they can yield.

A gallery reception will take place Thursday, November 16, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Experimental Gallery. The exhibit will run through November 30.

The Experimental Gallery is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Experimental Gallery is in Holden Fine Arts Center at 1805 Catlin Ave. in Superior.
