The University of Wisconsin-Superior welcomed Michael Kleber-Diggs to campus on Thursday, April 13, as part of the Writing, Language, and Literature Department’s Visiting Writers Series.
A poet, essayist, literary critic and arts educator, Kleber-Diggs gave a fireside poetry reading in the Jim Dan Hill Library. His debut poetry collection, “Worldly Things,” was awarded the 2020 Max Ritvo Poetry Prize.
Prior to the reading, he visited with UW-Superior students from WRIT 352 Advanced Creative Writing: Poetry and WRIT 250 Intro to Creative Writing, along with additional interested students and staff.
