The University of Wisconsin–Superior Music Department will present its Symphonic Band Concert on Thursday, May 1, at 7:30 p.m. in Thorpe Langley Auditorium.
“The UWS Symphonic Band will perform an exciting and challenging program for their final concert of the school year,” said Steven Siegel, UW–Superior director of bands and trumpet instructor. “Additionally, the Symphonic Band will honor Dr. Greg Kehl Moore by performing his work Grass Dance, as he is retiring at the end of this year.”
The program will feature The Speech of Angels by Stephen Melillo, Festal Scenes by Yasuhide Ito and Aurora Borealis by Rosano Galante.
Tickets are $5 for adults and free for students. Thorpe Langley Auditorium is in Old Main, 1710 Weeks Ave.
