The University of Wisconsin-Superior Music Department will present its Spring Concert and Senior Recognition on Tuesday, May 6, at 7:30 p.m. in Thorpe Langley Auditorium. The performance will feature the UWS Singers and Chorale.
“The concert will showcase a variety of styles, including choral art songs, an African American spiritual, and a jazz standard,” said Michael Fuchs, D.M.A., UW-Superior director of choral activities, associate professor and chair of the Music Department. “We’ll also take this opportunity to recognize and thank the seniors who have contributed so much to the UWS Choirs during their time at the university.”
The Chorale will also perform selections from the recent UWS Opera production of Trial by Jury.
The evening will conclude with performances of Bob Dylan’s The Times They Are A-Changin’ and Ryan O’Neil’s North.
Tickets are $5 for adults and free for students. Thorpe Langley Auditorium is located in Old Main at 1710 Weeks Avenue.
