Thirty University of Wisconsin-Superior students who have completed research projects through the TRIO McNair Scholars Program and the Link Center Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship (SURF) will present their work on Thursday, October 10, from 3 to 6 p.m. in the Yellowjacket Union as part of the Undergraduate Research Symposium. This event is free and open to the community.
Project topics include “Agricultural Economics Affects Rural Community Well-Being,” “Mino-bimaadiziwin: An Ojibwe Musical Pedagogy,” “Scientometric Analysis and Systematic Literature Review for the Characterization of Microplastic in ISS,” and “Vampires: Folklore to Fiction.”
A poster session will begin at 3 p.m. on the Yellowjacket Union landing. Oral sessions will take place from 4:30 to 6 p.m. in Yellowjacket Union, Rooms 201 to 204. The symposium concludes at 6 p.m.
