The University of Wisconsin-Superior Music Department will present Twin Ports Brass Quintet, on Tuesday, October 17, at 7:30 p.m. in Webb Recital Hall as part of its University Recital Series.

The concert will feature Steven Siegel, trumpet; Charlie Leibfried, trumpet; Deborah Rausch, French horn; Derek Bromme, trombone; and David Leslie, bass trombone.

This recital will primarily feature music written by living composers but will include classics such as Ewald’s “Quintet No. 1” and Samuel Scheidt’s “Galliard Battaglia.”

“Some highlights many audience members may be familiar with are ‘Summon the Heroes’ by John Williams, ‘Amazing Grace,’ and ‘Basin Street Blues,’” said Siegel. “The eclectic repertoire will keep the audience excited and should last approximately one hour.”
