About

Jamie White-Farnham has been at UW-Superior since 2011. She is a Professor in the Writing Program and serves as the Director of Jim Dan Hill Library and Markwood Center for Learning, Innovation and Collaboration.

Research Interests

Dr. White-Farnham’s research areas are feminism and rhetoric, women’s health rhetoric, grammar and language change, and higher education administration.

Publications

Dr. White-Farnham is the author or co-editor of three books and 18 academic articles. Her most recent book is Patients Making Meaning: Theorizing Sources of Information and Forms of Support in Women’s Health, available at Routledge.

Presentations

Dr. White-Farnham is a regular presenter at the Conference on College Composition and Communication, Feminisms & Rhetorics Conference, and the Rhetorical Society of America.

Awards
