About
Before joining the Department of Education at UW-Superior, Stephanie spent over a decade teaching in various Wisconsin public schools at the elementary, middle, and high school levels in the areas of Language Arts, Library Media, and Technology Integration. Stephanie is also proud to be a UW-Superior alumna who played basketball for the Yellowjackets.
Outside of school, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, running, and hiking.Â
Research Interests
Stephanie’s interests are in the areas of technology integration in K-12 education and the scholarship of teaching and learning. Her research focuses on the effectiveness of coaching strategies in developing teachers’ technology integration skills to achieve student-learning goals in a technology-rich classroom environment. It also focuses on planning for instruction efficacy of pre-service teachers prior to student teaching residency. Â
