About
Krisi Patterson, affectionately known as “KP” is the Director of Campus Recreation overseeing the Marovich Wellness Center and the Sinnto S. Wessman Arena daily operations, programs in campus recreation, and professional staff members and student employees.
A native of Cottage Grove, MN, KP came to UW-Superior in 2006 to work in campus recreation. KP is an alumna of UW-Stout in Menomonie, WI, where she worked for 14 years in a variety of areas within university recreation including the recreation center, sports clubs, and the health and fitness center.
With a B.S. in Hospitality and Tourism (UW-Stout, 1992) and M.S. in Recreation Management (UW-LaCrosse, 2021) she is committed to teaching the values of education in the UW System.
KP very much enjoys student programming and working with college students in areas of recreation, mindfulness, well-being and activities. She also enjoys walking her dogs. KP is very active in the community volunteering in areas of wellness and fitness, she loves being active in working with youth and families in Superior on educating them on healthy activities and good choices for a better future.
