About
Ephraim is an Associate Professor of Communication at UW-Superior. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and a Ph.D. in Communication from Ohio University. He also holds master’s degrees in International Studies and Public Administration. Ephraim has expertise in intercultural communication/race/diversity and communication processes in organizations. His recent work is a co-edited book, Collaborative Communication Processes and Decision Making in Organizations.
In his spare time, Ephraim plays an active role in the community. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Superior and Rolling Readers and is a youth soccer coach. He is also an active member of the diversity and inclusivity network for UW-Superior and the Twin Ports region. When he is not engaged in any of these activities you likely find him playing racquetball, soccer or tennis.
Research Interests
Ephraim’s research interest is on the intersection of organizations, community development and intercultural communication. He has led several training workshops in the United States and internationally. His current research focuses on the use of communicative tools to mobilize community resources for development.
Ephraim is conducting ongoing research projects in Ghana, Africa, training workshops for community leaders in Ghana and Haiti, in addition to training workshops for UW-Superior faculty and staff.
