About
Martha works every year with undergraduate students on class research projects, as well as senior capstone projects. Her scholarly/teaching interests include conflict management in higher education, political and cultural rhetoric, communication in grief, ageism in interpersonal communication, and the intersection of interpersonal communication and popular culture. She serves on the University’s Credits/Reinstatement committee, which is the group that deliberates all student petitions requesting exceptions to academic policy. Martha is deeply committed to issues of diversity and inclusion.
