The University of Wisconsin-Superior Music Department will present its Global Percussion Concert on Thursday, April 25, at 7:30 p.m. in Thorpe Langley Auditorium.

The concert will feature three performances of Caribbean steel band music, which will include “Pan in my System,” by Ray Holman; “Trini Mambo,” by Teralyn Trace; and “Hard Times,” by Len “Boosgie” Sharpe.   

Also included will be music from West Africa, specifically styles of drumming from Mali and Ghana.

Tickets are $5 and available at the door. Thorpe Langley Auditorium is in Old Main at 1710 Weeks Ave. in Superior.
